1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AssureStep ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

AssureStep is operated by AssureStep ("we," "us," or "our"), located in Collin County, Texas.

2. Description of Service

AssureStep provides HVAC regulatory intelligence tools and services, including:

• Free HVAC calculators and compliance checkers
• Pro Club membership with equipment tracking and analytics
• CSV import from CRM systems
• Revenue opportunity identification
• A2L refrigerant compliance monitoring

3. Account Registration

To access Pro Club features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to provide accurate, current information and update it as necessary.

4. Pro Club Membership and Fees

4.1 Free Access

Pro Club membership is currently free for all users. We may introduce paid subscription tiers in the future with 30 days advance notice to all members.

4.2 Future Paid Features

If we introduce paid subscription tiers, we will notify all users at least 30 days in advance. Current Pro Club members may receive grandfathered pricing or continued free access at our discretion.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at support@getassurestep.com or through your account settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using AssureStep, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of all customer and equipment data you upload. We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of AssureStep (including software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks) are owned by AssureStep and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

AssureStep provides informational tools. You are responsible for verifying all calculations and compliance determinations with qualified professionals.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASSURESTEP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0 for free accounts).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AssureStep harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

11. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms
• Is harmful to other users or the Service
• Violates applicable laws

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Collin County, Texas.
